Nowadays, there are few ways to connect the internet.

It is dial-up, T-lines, WiFi, Coaxial cable, copper wires, fiber optic and cell phones.

Dial-up and cable is very common in our life to connect cable, becuse its cheaper and easy to setup.

1: Make sure you have apply internet account from MTS or Shaw

2: Setup with your computer

There are two types of cables to get in your home, one is cable and the other one is telephone line

When you applyed the internet service, the company will give u a box called "Modem"

i) IF you only 1 computer in your home, you just plug the cable to you Moderm and your computer.

---If you have over 1 computer, you need to use "Router".

ii) Plug the cable from the wall to Modem, plug the cable from Modem to Router and use another cable to connect the Router to the Computer.

iii)quick setup the router to share IP to each computer, done.
